Tapper Zukie signs Silver Kamel download deal

I read today "Tappa Zukie (MPLA) Makes Agreement With Silver Kamel To Download Reggae MP3s." I read this with some interest as it was only recently discussed that Tapper Zukie had signed a new contract deal with Trojan Records where it was rumoured that the said contract covered Tappa's entire catalogue of recordings. Surely they didn't exclude the download rights on those contracts? Or did they? Maybe the Trojan contracts covered Tapper's output and Silver Kamels are for Tappa's tunes? Be interesting to see how this unfolds... if indeed it unfolds at all.

Hi Collin,

Tappa and Silver Kamel have a non-exclusive contract that allows SKA to offer Tappas product as digital downloads. We also have Bunny Lee signed up with a lot more negotiating going on. SKA intends to offer both the established artist and new artists to the reggae massive... Check it out at

Jah Bless.... Kamel
